Our producer partners

Trading for Development works with over 40 producers, who are all certified members of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO).

Our producers are based in some of the most economically disadvantaged areas of the world but by using craft skills, traditions and local natural resources, are able to support themselves, their families and communities.

In Peru and Bolivia, our producers buy their alpaca yarn locally, hand-spin and hand-knit our luxurious knitted products.

In Ecuador the seeds from Tagua palm trees are collected, dried in the sun, dyed and carved in to our unique jewellery.

Naturally dyed silk and kantha embroidery comes from Bangladesh, handmade jewellery and accessories from India, and mother of pearl, olive wood, and embroidered  products from Israel and Palestine.

“Our strength is in our hands and what we are doing is building fair and equitable trade here in Bolivia”
